Hey everyone I was thinking earlier about my favorite video games and I would like to know what everyones favorite games were.. I want you to give me reasons why you love these games so much and why they are so great. ill give you my list: 5: Bioshock- When I first played this game I was amazed by its graphics and I still am. It has a really good story and really addicting gameplay. I love all the different attacks you can get and I also love the atmosphere of this game. The only downside is that it doesn't have that much replay value, but the first playthrough for me was amazing! 4: Mario Kart DS- This game is straight up fun when you are playing with alot of your friends. Me and my friends would take our DS's into the classroom our senior year and play while our teacher gave lectures haha. It was very funny because we would yell and laugh whenever it was a really close race or when someone got hit by a shell and our teacher never understood it because he never saw the DS's. But this game is very fun plain and simple. So much replay value. 3: Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie- The two best platformers ever made IMO. I had to have a tie here because these games were so good. I played the first game when I was 7 and the other when I was 9. Both of these games had me glued to the tv, I couldn't stop playing them. The worlds were creative, music awesome, funny characters, awesome boss fights. These games were nearly perfect. 2: Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past- I think this is the perfect Zelda game, not Ocarina of Time with its broken control system. This game had perfect control, awesome music, and it was just an epic adventure all the way through. It also has a perfect amount of difficulty, not too hard and definitly not too easy. The dungeons were all awesome and unique, as were the bosses for each of the dungeons. Takes me back to my childhood when I was around 4 or 5. Best adventure game by far. 1: Super Smash Bros. Brawl- I have always loved all of the Smash Bros. games but this one surpasses Melee surprisingly! This is probably the only game I can play over and over again and never get sick of it as long as I have a worthy opponent who puts up a good fight. I dunno if a game will ever be as addicting as this for me because it has infinite replay value. I hope they make a new Smash game and balance the characters out a little more but that is my only complaint, other than that this is my favorite game of all time and will probably hold the number one spot till the next one comes out So there you go, those are my top 5 games of all time. Please share your favorite games with me. Im always up to play a good game, new or old. Firstly I would choose banjo kazooie. I love this game but it always gets on my nerves LOL. Secondly would be Pokemon stadium, thats cool. Lastly It would be a tie between mario party and f-zero x. F-zero x makes me laugh because my dad spent hours on it one night while I was in bed (i was 7yrs old) And because you have to win every single race which takes a VERY long time, he was close to finishing it..... I LOOOOVVVEEEDDDD the old banjo games they were masterpieces crazy, imaginative gameplay that entertained me for hours. everything you did was clever and there was always something fun and creative to do. platforming, first person egg shooting, puzzles, occasional racing, and a few great secrets (stop n swop perhaps???) and due to my love of these games, i was drawn to nuts and bolts however, part of me thinks that i only want this game is because the thought of missing a new console banjo game would kill me. but i am worried about how much i will like it with the new vehicle emphasis. I played the demo, and i thought it was fun and i loved the familiar elements like the music and old scenery. But it wasn't great. Getting the jiggies repetitive, and moving around in vehicles was slow and unexciting. i have had my xbox for about 6 months now and when i got RROD about 4 months ago i managed to fix it using this great thing on youtube with 8 pennys. anyway today i downloaded the new xbox experience and was all excited so i popped in banjo kazooie (which was working fine until today) and started to play. about 5 minutes later, my xbox froze. i was like "wat?" so i just restarted my xbox and was chatting witha friend for a half hour. then i trired NAB again and it froze again after 5 minutes. so now i getting pissed and so i try halo 3. my xbox doesnt even make it to the opening scree. it just feezes. i try Cod WAW and it freezes at opening screen. i tried no game. I'm 16 and the youngest of 3 kids. My sister is 7 years older than me, and my brother is 5 years older than me. I just relized they affected me in a very noticable way (don't worry nothing creepy). A lot of the stuff they did when they were still living at home made an impact on my verry impresionable young self. For example my favorite band is Third Eye Blind. I aslo like alot of other late 90's early 00's bands like Matchbox Twenty, Train, The Wallflowers, Vertical Horizon, and the Goo Goo Dolls. For some reason every time I listen to Best I Ever Had by Vertical horizon it makes me feel all sad and makes me think of when I was a younger kid. I also get the same feeling around certian TV shows like Boy Meets World, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Full House, and Family Matters. Plus theres the old Video Games like Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64. I used to sit and watch my brother play them for hours. I also think having older syblings with such an age gap made me more mature. I bring this all up becaue I do a lot of living in the past. I like to remember old stuff from when I was younger. Well lets be honest first off we cant rate its graphics compared to the wii or the ps3 because its older, but hey then again Nintendo 64 made a huge leap for video games when it comes to graphics especially if you were around when it was made. But its the games im really talking about i mean lets look at some of the classics Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Legend of Zelda Majoras Mask I loved those games personally i thought twilight princess was better however there are many who disagree with me and think Oot was the best. But im not done yet theres also Donkey Kong 64:A great game that should have had a GOOD sequal not this gameboy crud. Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie (AMAZING game, again needed another game to continue the series) Mario Party 1, 2 and 3 (best mario partys out there especially 2) Super Mario 64 (best of the series) Paper Mario Mario Kart 64 (Its better than mario kart wii for sure -.-) Conkers bad fur day Golden Eye Kirby and the krystal shards Yoshis story super smash bros (Tho brawl is better) well ive already gone through one page and i can keep going on.
