The Adventures of Music the Ranger 1 Sequel to last plot I revealed In the prelude game you can only play as Music and the others where just supporting roles. In this game there are six playable characters: Music the Ranger, Kyle, Richard, Chris Brown, G-102 Gamma, and Steve. Music is the only charcter selectable at first the other must be unlocked through the course of the gameplay. Although all the charcter's stories overlap into the main plot, each character has an individualized storyline. PLOT: After Doctor Gayman is defeated by Music the Ranger and his Death Gay Star (Star Wars joke) is desltroyed, he quickly discovers another way to attempt to every person on Earth gay. He goes back to Alcatraz Island when Richard is again sleeping on the job and shatters the Master Emerald again releasing the monster named Gayness. Richard wakes up and has a brief encounter with Gayness before Alcatraz Island again falls out of the sky. Richard embarks on a mission to gather all of the broken pieces of the Master Emerald (the premis of Richard's story). Music the Ranger finally makes it back to his hometown if San Jose, California but upon arrival he witnesses a huge police chase so he follows to see what's up. The police try and shoot Gayness 0 (Gayness is numbered 0-7 depending on the number of Sex Emeralds he's consumed) Music defeats the creature but he's perplexed as to what it is. Kyle crashes his airplane of the Santa Cruz coast and Music goes to rescue him. Kyle then reveals that he's using a Sex Emerald to power his plane. When Kyle and Music head to Kyle's workshop they confront Dr. Gayman and battle the Gay Hornet. Afterwrads he snatches Kyle's Emerald and feeds it to Gayness making him more powerful. With all seven Emeralds, Gayness will become invincible and Gayman plans to use him to gayify the world. Music and Kyle go off to find Sex Emeralds while Richard finds more Master Emerald shards. Gayman steals another Emerald from Music and Kyle. Richard see Gayman carrying a Sex Emerald an mistakes it for a piece of the Master Emerald. Ricahrd the battles Gayness 2. After the fight, Gayman convinces Richard that Music is after the Master Emerald pieces. Richard sees Music and Kyle with a Sex Emerald and again mistakes it for a piece of the Master Emerald. The fight and Gayman steal another Emerald. The all battle Gayness 4. After, Gayman reveals he new spaceship, the Gay Carrier. Music and Kyle hop in their plane the Tornado and chase the Gay Carrier but they get shot down. Kyle reminisces about his friendship with Music. He then goes off to find another Emerald for the Tornado 2. Froggy swallows the Emerald but Kyle catches up. Froggy is Steve's pet. Chris Brown reminisces about all the times Music has saved him. He considers Music his hero and have an infatuation for him by this point. The Gay Carrier flies over his head and drops a little bird he names Lily. But G-100 Zero is after the bird and chases Chris Brown in order to get Lily back. Chris swears he'll protect Lily and help her find her family (this is what Chris' story is about) On his way he sees his hero Music and points out that "Cute couples can get in free" to the local amusement park due to a promotional offer. Chris makes Music chase him through the theme park but he ends up getting chased by Zero instead when Music loses track of Chris. Zero then kidnaps Chris Brown and takes him and Lily the birdie onto the Gay Carrier. Music climbs mountains to chase after the Gay Carrier. At the mountain's peak, Kyle arrives in the Tornado 2 and they land on the Gay Carrier. Richard also arrives here as he discovers that the last pieces of the Master Emerald are aboard the ship. This is the gay human-robot love affair part. G-102 Gamma is one of Dr. Gayman's G-100 Series gaybots. Gayman sends Gamma to get the bird from an imprisoned Chris Brown. Chris refuses to hand over Lily and begs Gamma to set him free. When Lily looks Gamma in the eye, it causes to Gamma to let them go. Chris Brown is shocked to see this gaybot has a heart and offers Gamma his friendship. When Music and Kyle find Chris being harassed by Dr. Gayman over the bird because the bird has a Sex Emerald, Gayman summons Gamma to battle Music. Just when Music is about to finish off Gamma, Chris Brown stops him. He explains that he won't let Music hurt Gamma he says how that gaybot is different than the others for setting him free and urges Music not to hurt him and Music agrees. Chris then goes to Gamma's side in tears begging him to wake up. Gamma wakes up and is shocked to discover that it is Chris Brown who saved him life. Chris extends an even deeper offer of friendship if Gamma leaves the dark side. When they leave Gamma's hard drive has an overlaod of emotions but Chris Brown's kindness towrads him causes him to malfunction and turn on Dr. Gayman and he sets out to destroy his brothers from the G-100 Series. Kyle then stops Dr. Gayman's Gay Walker from detonating a missle that would queerify San Francisco. Kyle is then promoted from Music's sidekick to a hero in his own right (which is the objective of his storyline.) Music, Richard, and Steve defeated Gayness 6. Steve is finally reunited with Froggy and Richard finally puts the Master Emerlad back together. Chris Brown fianlly finds Lily's family aboard the Gay Carrier crash site. He then has his battle with G-100 Zero. After defeating Zero he finally reunites Lily and her family. He then sees G-102 Gamma dying after battling all the other gaybots. With his last breath, Gamma thanks Chris for his friendship and states that his mission is complete and then dies. Chris Brown in tears says: "You've done so much for Lily and me. Oh Mr. Gaybot, I'll never forget you!" Music has his final battle against Dr. Gayman's Gay Viper. And just Music thinks it's all over Gayness gets the last Sex Emerald and transforms in Perfect Gayness. Music uses the Emeralds to turn into Super Straight Music and he saves the world yet again. A century ago, 300 African Americans worked together to establish the town of Allensworth, California, a community that thrived for many years. Recently, a two-day celebration was held there to honor the town's 100th birthday. The celebration also paid tribute to the town's place in the history of civil rights. In honor of its 100th birthday, Allensworth hosted a variety of family events. These included bike rides, music and dance performances, history exhibits, and town tours. Thousands attended. Several guest speakers talked about the town. They said that to its residents, it was more than a hometown; it was a new beginning. The town of Allensworth is located between Los Angeles and San Francisco. It was founded in 1908 by a retired Army colonel and escaped slave. His name was Allen Allensworth. Allensworth held the honor of being the Army's first African-American colonel. He served in the Civil War. Allensworth set up the town on fertile land in California's San Joaquin Valley. He imagined a place where African Americans could own property and live with dignity in a self-sufficient farming community. His goal was to a build a town that would thrive. He believed it would then alter the poor views of African Americans during a time of intense racism. These views were evidenced first by slavery and then by Jim Crow segregation laws. "[It was] a conscious effort to combat racism at a time when there was very little [being done to combat it]," said Lonnie G. Bunch. Bunch is founding manager of the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture. Allensworth was unique in its sociological and political mission, Bunch said. "It was more than creating an all-African-American community; there was a national political strategy involved in the founding of Allensworth that makes it unique." Recognizing that education would be the key to their success, Allensworth residents placed great importance on learning. The town made the school the largest building in town. Citizens taxed themselves in order to hire an additional teacher beyond the one paid for by the state. City planners initially pictured a college in the town center. In 1913, however, California's state government voted down funding during its drive to end segregation. In addition to schools, townspeople valued libraries as a source of learning and erected the county's first free public library. The public library was only one of the town's many firsts. Allensworth residents elected California's first African-American justice of the peace. They also elected the first African-American constable. "I call the Allensworth pioneers 'Genius People,'" said Alice Calbert Royal. Royal was born in Allensworth in 1923. "They had a vision that would uplift an entire race of people," she said. Allensworth flourished for 12 years, until several events caused the town to decline. Colonel Allensworth died suddenly. The wells that irrigated the town's farms dried up. The Santa Fe railroad moved the train's stop to a neighboring town. Eventually, educated young people began moving away in search of jobs. But Allensworth is sometimes referred to as "the town that refused to die." It went on to assume a different form. In the 1970s, the California government recognized the town's historical importance. So really, it’s no more extraordinary than the other forty-three days that America held presidential inaugural ceremonies. Except this time, there was one crucial difference. This time, an unprecedented multi-racial man, Barack Hussein Obama, was sworn in as America’s 44th president. Obama’s inauguration was watched by the greatest number of people since Ronald Reagan. Even though live coverage began at 5:00 a.m. by the media, and excited ticketholders flooded the National Mall, the ceremony “officially” began with music from the Marine Band, the San Francisco Boys Chorus and the San Francisco Girls Chorus. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) issued the call to order and made brief welcoming remarks. Obama then met with former president George W. Bush, who he traveled with to Capitol Hill where he was sworn in as president shortly afterward. I used to live in Austin, Texas. I moved to San Marcos two months ago to finish my last year at Texas State University. I've been wondering this question for quite sometime. Why doesn't Austin have more culture? Why doesn't The Live Music Capital of the World have an opera, symphony, or orchestra? Not everybody wants to go down to 6th Street and rub elbows with frat boys while 40 y/o adolescents play Rock-a-Billy? Why doesn't Austin have more museums, a theme park, a real zoo, aquarium, planetarium, or a live theater? Yes I know San Antonio is right down the road. So what! Baltimore is right down the road from Washington, DC. They have all those things there. San Diego is right down the road from LA. They have all those things there. Milwaukee is right down the road from Chicago. They have all those thing there. Orlando is right down the road from Tampa. They have all those things there. To me, it would seem even more impractical to drive down to San Antonio for all the festivities with the prices of gas soaring through the roof. Why does the entire cultural hearth of Austin have to revolve around either the Capital, 6th street, and the University? Why doesn't Austin have more diversified festivities? I'm going to ask as many times as it takes until I get a straight answer. See you're just as subtle as all the other Austinites I've encountered. I'm thinking of doing a street performance in San Francisco which is where I live. what I'm thinking of is to dressing up as a Gothic Lolita or weird colorful costume looking like a doll and sing some songs I wrote or maybe random song that I come up on the spot. I live in the South Bay (south of San Francisco) area, and am so frustrated with how every county park in my county forbids dogs, even on leash, the only local city park that lets people swim forbids entrance to dogs in the park at all, outdoor events such as "music in the park" forbid dogs, as well as as all the state parks in Santa Cruz and Santa Clara County. Even the state parks forbid dogs on all hiking trails! Why? I just got back from a driving trip to WA with my German Shepherd, and up there was welcome in virtually every park on a leash as well as all lakes & hiking trails. My GSD and I both love to swim and there is nowhere within a 2 hour drive I can take her swimming. There is a dog beach in Santa Cruz but the water is so rough I can't swim in it, not to mention great white sharks. Anyone else in CA encounter this and does anyone know WHY?? Know of any resources where I can find places that are dog friendly in the great outdoors? All we have here is a tiny dog park but we want to go on long hikes & swims. I don't mean a little one acre dog park, I mean a 5 mile plus hike. Ok, I'm an hour south of SF in San Jose. I've have friends in Oceanside that we are trying to stay somewhat close to. I live in Columbus, OH as of right now and love my location, but need a change. My daughter's school, library and my gym are located a few blocks from each other. Our house is next to the market and my school is South of us about 5 min, I usually ride my bike. I would love to find this kind of connivance in our new area. I'm looking for an area/town that is more on the hippie go green side of things, with culture. I want something safe for my daughter, but fun and laid back for her 25 yr. old single mother, I'm not into clubs but more local music pubs. Both my daughter and I want something close to the beach/boardwalk and train, also a park/trail of some sort close by would be nice. Our dog would appreciate the outdoor stuff too. Austin is way overrated. I just graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos. Now I'm moving to Colorado. Thank god! Austin sucks! First of all, Austin is not as liberal as everyone thinks it is. So ot's liberal compared to Amarillo, Waco, Lubbock, and Killeen, and every other redneck cowtown around Texas. That's not saying much. Are people forgetting that Austin is the capital of Texas, one of the most ultra-conservative States in the union? Trust me! I know what liberalism is. I was stationed in San Francisco for 2 years when I was in the Coast Guard. That's liberal! If Austin is so liberal, then why hasn't that light rail been built? Why is the black population there shrinking? Why do the Austin Police act like a bunch of thugs? Why did they have to shut down Johnston High for over a year because the testing scores were so low? The weather is hotter than hell about nine months out of the year. Every time I walk outside, it's like walking into a sweat lodge. They still haven't expanded IH-35 even though this city has been growing here exponentially. The music there sucks; the clubs there suck; the cost of living sucks; and the traffic sucks. The wages here also suck because they're not inflation-adjusted. I thought Austin was cool when I first moved here back in the summer of '96, but I regret moving back here in the summer '04 when I was discharged from the service. The only reason why I did was to finish school and because I have family here. You can rest assured I won't be coming back this time. Austin has that same "cowboy/redneck" mentality as the rest of Texas. The people here have no class or manners. They are rude as hell. The people here are crass, conniving, arrogant, temperamental, inconsiderate, boisterous, overbearing, and volatile. I worked in customer service here and I absolutely despised it. You can learn a lot about people just by working in retail. Often times that's when their true colors show. Every time I go into a restaurant, they're always wearing cutoffs, shorts, flip-flops, ratty jeans, or tank-tops. They're white trash! In San Francisco people would dress up nicely. That's only reasonable when you go to a high-class restaurant, is it not? They say Austin is a friendly city. They weren't very specific, and they forgot to say that it's superficially friendly or fair-weather friendly. The women there are very shallow and conceited. That's to be expected because they're a bunch of UT students and UT tends to cultivate that "holier than thou" mentality. They say Austin is a great place to live if you're single. Maybe if you've got lots of money that's the case. A few hippies live in the inner city, but all they do is take-up space and panhandle for money. Leslie Cochran doesn't even hang out downtown anymore. There are a lot more yuppies and preppy UT students there than there are hippies. Everywhere else they've been replaced by beer-drinking rednecks. I wouldn't be surprised if I found out the only thing they've built is more trailer parks here. I wouldn't be caught dead living back there. Houston at least has culture and several things to do though which Austin clearly doesn't. Even the radio stations here suck. To put it bluntly, Austin is nothing more than an under-developed, uncultured, and over-glorified college town that refuses to grow up and become a mature city. So i'm turning 16 next month, and i want to do something with friends (yea, guys and girls) i live in san diego, ca. One of the guys in my Harley club was telling me that I need to go here. He says its loaded with all sorts of Harley folks, and that everyone really gets into the Harley thing and wears all the gear and there's a ton of Harley's parked out front. He says even the guys that work there will be wearing gear - from the owner to the manager to the bartenders to barbacks to music people to door security. The whole place is supposed to be all about the gear and the lifestyle. This sounds like the spot for any Harley enthusiast - just from the description my friend gave me I can see why so many Harley guys hang out there. Has anyone checked this place out? Hello! I am applying to UCSD for grad. school - and until I can actually get in, I've been wondering what are the more younger and fun places to live in? (not too far away, preferably) I do like Hillcrest very much, but I think it may be a bit too expensive - and forget Pacific Beach, I hate those beach, drinking crowds. Ocean Beach didn't do it for me either... parts of Clairemont was ok. What do people think about North Park, Normal Heights or more north like Solana Beach/Encintas? Is there anything closer to Balboa Park or somewhere I can go bike riding? The beaches may be too expensive, granted.. I tend to love small indie places, cafes, CDs/music, that type of thing. I'm trying to find a park to through my party in but the internet is filled with so much crap information that i haven't made any progress. I enjoy like rock and roll, jazz, chanting , gospel, some country, elevator music. I remember when going through my divorce in San Antonio I saw this giant fancy place out in the woods and drove up and they parked my car. I went in and a giant big band was playing while people ball room danced. Anyway I went to have a cocktail and there were a million ladies dressed up in evening gowns. I was approached and it was dark, but everyone there was a senior citizen. Anyway had fun dancing and got invited to the polo games. Those little ladies danced the stuffings out of me. It was pretty wild and i was worn out. Fun place. Outside Texas mesquite trees, inside the 40s with the big brass band. Seriously they had long velvet curtains and alll the trimmings of a time gone by. like I was in another world. I enjoy other music and this time of year I like the Christmas music. I'm moving from Mississippi to one of these places in January b/c , quite frankly, it sucks here. No skate scene, no good music, nor artisticness. I want a place where its easy to meet fellow skaters and get some street skating done, and it seems like this would be hard in california, but I may be wrong about that. I love good skate parks too, as long as there aren't any pad nannies lurking and there aren't any pad laws at the park. I've only been to Austin, Lexington, Atlanta, and NYC, so those are the only ones I'll assess. The others, I'll have to leave alone, although I'd like to visit them! My list from most to least preferred: 1. Austin: awesome city, great live music scene and festivals, SXSW, seemingly good people, and 12,000 acres of parks! Close to San Antone and Houston. I'd move there today. 2. Atlanta: didn't think I'd like since my family in KY told me about how decrepit it is. I was wrong! Love the city, people, its beautiful women, and climate! I'd live there, too. 3. New York: well, it's NYC, what more is there to say? The people are tough, resilient, and rushed, yet actually (mostly) nice once you sit down with them. True multiculturalism! 4. Lexington, KY: live near there now. IT SUCKS! Very few people who are even decent, a lot of white trash acting like they're "rich." Crime rate is actually pretty high. What do you like about it? Not like? Why would you ever or never go there? Would I move there? IN A HEARTBEAT!!! Nice climate (well, for 10 months of the year,) beautiful scenery, great parks, live music. Okay, so many people are moving there that I don't want to rattle off all the obviously nice things about Austin before the whole world moves there. I learned about Austin not by word of mouth, but my randomly stumbling upon it on I-35 going from Dallas to San Antonio. I didn't mean to stop in Austin; it stopped me. Now I want to live there. And, Texans (including many native Austinites) seem particularly friendly. They're on par with many native Brits, Japanese, Koreans, and Indians I've met. I live in rural Kentucky, in a small house in a small town (my hometown). I'm in college and live w/ my parents and just can't afford to move now. My neighbors are mostly rednecks. I've lived in two cities, Louisville and Cincinnati, only to come back to "Hicksville" by fate. A little about me: 1. I don't have the annoying Kentucky accent, except when I get loud and excited (then it just slips) 2. I drive 70-75MPH and cut people off when everyone else on the highway is barely crackin' 45 3. I love art museums 4. I know all the good nightclubs, ethnic restaurants, parks, and "date places" in Louisville and Cincinnati 5. I hate living in the country 6. I don't like tractor or truck pulls 7. Urban traffic doesn't bother me (except for NYC, LA, and San Fran) 8. Ky. girls are boring. I enjoy getting to know girls from all over the world--in my experience, from NYC to Atlanta, and from India to Latvia. 9. I THRIVE w/ live music--jazz, rap, rock, you name it!
